Lapjockey came into existence when a group of
electronic music makers decided to try to recreate their
music studio in a laptop. The foundation for the project
was Propellerhead's Reason, and the final result was
Flatpack, a ReFill sound source.
In 2002, Flatpack Productions Ltd. was formed. We are a
UK-based company dedicated to creating products that
fulfill the potential of virtual instrument software. As
well as creating Flatpack sound sources, we develop sounds
for other products such as the Reason Factory Sound Bank.
The programming team behind Flatpack are all
full-time professional sound engineers, mixers, musicians,
and sound designers working in the UK music, film, and game
industries.
